All should be made aware that the family gift exchange is scheduled for Saturday afternoon/evening. Pa and Grammy will be giving a few small gifts to all grandchildren that evening but will also be giving them personal gifts for them to open on Christmas Eve. We will just bring Weston's to the party. We are also planning to give all families 12 days of Christmas gifts like we did last year. The theme this year will be "In search of Jesus." I'm getting really excited about it. We will only take Sam and Autum's to the party because of room but will get the rest of you yours so you can start opening them on the 14th. loves to all ~ Mom

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a handmade gift from me during this year. When and What will be a surprise. There's a small catch though....Post this same thing on your blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in. Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift."

i happened upon this fun little game from Geri (she's got great style. I'm pumped for her handmade gift!) and was lucky to comment quickly enough......
it's top 3 only.
be quick!

{p.s. email me your address if you'd be so kind.}

Thrice Blessed

We just added Grand baby number 3 for this year. We thought 3 weddings in one year was fun but that didn't even compare to 3 new babies this year!

Paisley Rae was born on March 22, 2008

Weston Samuel was born on June 25, 2008

&

Maggie Marie was born December 15, 2008

Add in Wyatt Jay, Cooper James, and Hyrum Lee for the cutest bunch of grandchildren around.

Steve and I both love loving our grand babies. They love me but they really like "Pa Steve" He loves to play and tease them. We had a wonderful family Christmas party this past weekend. Little Weston kept giving Pa kisses. It was so cute. He's only 5 months old, but whenever Pa was holding him he'd end up kissing him. Sam said he'd never kissed them that much. The ultimate though was when he took his binky out of his mouth and tried to put it in Pa's. So sweet.

I'll try to get some fun pictures posted soon. For now, look at Rachael or Emily's to see our cute babies:)

School Days

Call me crazy but I've had about enough vacation time and I'm ready to get back to school. I'm going to start getting my room ready this week! I want to completely flip my room around. Okay Brad - I'll just move the things inside the room to the other side. It felt backwards last year. The majority of my students could see out the door and into the hall. If I move everything to the other side few should be able to do that. My desk is now in the back corner, I want it by the door. You get the idea. Anyone want to help?

I have a bee theme and have found a few cute new items and ideas but would love any suggestions or ideas from you. I'm also all ears for any fun things you or your kids may have done in school. For instance, I read on someones blog that they got to read their child's favorite book to the class on their birthday!! I love it and plan to do that this year.

(Geri if you read this will you please teach me how to find neat pictures and then add them. I couldn't figure it out - only know how to upload what is on my computer - oh and Rach is out of town:))

grandbabies ~ need I say more???

Paisley & Weston

(okay I can't figure out how to flip this picture - sorry)

My favorite things to do this summer has been rocking grandbabies! Steve and I went to a horse show Sam was competing in today and got to watch Weston sleep while Sam and Autumn worked. He is such a perfect little man. So content and sweet. We laid him on a blanket between us on the bench and just watched him. We tried to watch Sam too ( he did well but his horse bummed up his leg a little) but Weston stole the show for us. I sunburned my knees and didn't even notice I was so busy enjoying him. I did get some pictures on my camera to share. Enjoy:)

BaBy Weston Samuel Has Arrived!!!

Weston Samuel Hobley arrived safe and sound (after a C-section) on Wednesday June 25, 2008. He weighed 8lbs. 4 oz. and was 21.5 " long. He is such a good baby. Sleeps 6-7 hours at night and sleeps, visits, and eats during the day. Sam is a VERY proud daddy ~ as he should be. Sara and I went to see them all the day he was born. Pa Steve and I went back on Friday & Saturday. We waited clear until the next Thursday to go and see him again. Autumn wanted Emily to color and cut her hair so Sara, Annie, Emily, Paisley, and I made an quick all day trip to see Weston again. It was Annie's birthday so we took cake and had a little party while we were there. It was such a fun day. Weston gets cuter every time we see him. Grandchildren are the bestest ever:)

I love my DAUGHTERS!!!

My daughters Rock & Roll!!!

Annie
~ who oozes with creativity, came today to help me make birthday cards for my 9 new girls coming into beehives the next few months. I had what I thought was a very cute idea but once Annie touched it ~ well lets just say my idea was the river or puddle, and hers was the ocean. Do ya get it?
Emily came to clean a bedroom. (Granted it was her stuff she left in the bedroom) but she is one heck of a cleaner. She got rid of at least 5 BIG boxes of garbage and almost as much to DI. When Emily heard we were making the cards she said "do you realize I just threw out boxes of crap like that from YW's? BUT when she saw them she said "hey those are cute enough I might even keep 'em!" Go us!
Rachel came by after a study group ditched her. We were glad because she always makes us smile and she loved on Paisley so Em could keep working.
Sara went to her girls camp meeting this morning and I didn't even have to remind her. AND she is going to get a job application ( and ice cream for us hard working women) as we speak.
Autumn ~ who seems to miss all our fun is still expecting our little Weston so we have to include her in our hard work day.

I love you all
